Question 1

What is Age of Exaltation?

Accepted Answer

A learning and discipleship card game that walks players through the whole story of the Bible. Four factions, twenty Bible scenes on one board, and every verse quoted word for word from the World English Bible. It plays like a card game, but its purpose is discipleship: to learn the story of Scripture and grow in it together, at the table.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Ages 14 and up, 2 to 4 players. Families, youth groups, small groups, homeschool families and anyone who likes a good card game.

Question 3

How do I try it?

Accepted Answer

Free, right now, in your browser at ageofexaltation.com/play with the code 341619. Nothing to install. You can play against the computer or pass the phone or tablet around the table.

Question 4

How much is it, and when can I buy it?

Accepted Answer

The starter decks are planned at $29.99 each, and each one comes with its six World cards. They go on sale by December 15, 2026, printed to order by The Game Crafter. Sign up at ageofexaltation.com/signup and we will email you the day they are out.

Question 5

What is in a starter deck?

Accepted Answer

A 40-card faction deck, a quick-start card, and the faction's six World cards. The game board is sold separately, and a Complete Starter Set with all four decks is planned.

Question 6

Do I need the board?

Accepted Answer

No. The free online game and the printed decks both play without it. The board puts the twenty Bible scenes on the table and is the best way to play with a group.

Question 7

Which Bible do you use?

Accepted Answer

The World English Bible. Every verse on every card and on the board is quoted exactly, with its reference. We chose it because it is a careful modern English translation that anyone may print and share freely, so a verse can sit on a card without a license and without being changed.

Question 8

Why four factions, and what are they?

Accepted Answer

The story of the Bible is a story of kingdoms, and the four factions are the four ways people and powers relate to God's throne. The Hosts of Heaven are the angelic armies, led by Michael. The Path of Autonomy is the rebellion that defied heaven, led by the one we call the Whisperer. The Image Bearers are the heroes of the Old Testament, from Joshua to Daniel. The Stewards of Order are the builders and governors, led by Nehemiah. Each faction's cards carry its own scenes and verses.

Question 9

Does playing the rebellion faction mean playing evil?

Accepted Answer

It means playing the rebellion as the Bible tells it: real, dangerous and already defeated. The Path of Autonomy strikes first and pierces every wall, and it cannot shield itself from the consequences of what it does; that is built into its cards on purpose. The Whisperer is drawn from Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14, fallen glory, never a cartoon devil, and he is always shown on the ground, cast out, under a bright sky. Players who pick the Path learn how rebellion works and how it ends. Every faction's verses are quoted exactly, so the Bible, not the game, has the last word.

Question 10

Is this a trading card game? Are there booster packs?

Accepted Answer

No. There are no random packs and nothing to chase. You buy a starter deck and you have the whole deck. Faction packs with more cards are planned later, and they will be fixed sets too.

Question 11

Can my church, youth group or co-op get a demo?

Question 12

Accepted Answer
